This was an extremely fun website to build because it's all about Christmas, one of the happiest times of the year. The website takes customer orders and generates a custom video for that customer's child. Because video processing takes lots of power and resources the site is moved to a larger, expensive server during the Christmas season so the video encoding can be handled quickly and efficiently. The custom video encoding system was built with custom FFMPEG code and was made to automate everything. The website itself is built with Wordpress... which wasn't my first choice but I decided to use it and see if it could handle all the custom coding.
